Strawberry Jam Bread


Ingredients (for 1)
18cm (7 inch) circle pan
Bun Dough
bread flour
salt
sugar
instant dried yeast
warm water
egg
butter

3g (0.5 tsp)

strawberry jam
corn starch

Knead the dough with hands or a food processor.
6. Knock back the dough by punching it gently. Shape the dough into a ball lightly. Leave for 15 minutes.
* Combine the corn starch and strawberry jam. Heat in a microwave oven until hot. Cool completely. 8. [Leaving to rise]
Leave to rise for 40-50 minutes, or until 2 times in size. >>
7. [Shaping]
Roll the dough out into a rectangle, 20 X 30 cm (7.8 X 11.8 inch).
Spread the filling, leaving a 1 cm (0.39 inch) border. Roll the dough up. 9. Brush the surface with beaten egg. Sprinkle with the almond slices.
10. [Baking]
Bake at 180 degrees C (356 degrees F) for 30 minutes or until golden.
Pinch the seam shut.
Cut the dough into 7 equal rolls with a knife.
