Chocolate Marble Pound Cake


Ingredients (for 1)
20 X 7 X 7 cm (7.9 X 2.8 X 2.8 inch)

cake flour
baking powder
cocoa powder

* Sift the cake flour and the baking powder together. Sift the cocoa powder.
* Grease and flour the pan. Chill the pan until use. 5. Combine the cocoa powder and the divided mixture (one thirds) until incorporated.
1. Cream the butter.
2. Add the sugar and whisk until fluffy. 6. Put the plain dough and the cocoa dough in a bowl.
3. Add the egg in 4 or 5 times and whisk until incorporated. 7. Fold the plain dough and the cocoa dough a few times to make marble pattern.
8. Pour the mixture into the loaf pan. Tap the pan to let out air. Dent the center with a spatula.
4. Add the flour mixture and the rum. Fold until half incorporated. 9. Bake at 170 degrees C (338 degrees F) for 45 minutes. >>
Divide the dough into two, a one thirds portion and a two thirds portion. Fold the big portion until incorporated.
