Chocolate Marble Pound Cake

Ingredients (for 1) 20 X 7 X 7 cm (7.9 X 2.8 X 2.8 inch) | | butter sugar egg cake flour baking powder cocoa powder rum

Sift the cake flour and the baking powder together. Sift the cocoa powder. |

|

Grease and flour the pan. Chill the pan until use. |

Combine the cocoa powder and the divided mixture (one thirds) until incorporated. |

Cream the butter. |

Add the sugar and whisk until fluffy. |
 |

Put the plain dough and the cocoa dough in a bowl. |

Add the egg in 4 or 5 times and whisk until incorporated. |

Fold the plain dough and the cocoa dough a few times to make marble pattern. |

Pour the mixture into the loaf pan. Tap the pan to let out air. Dent the
center with a spatula. |

Add the flour mixture and the rum. Fold until half incorporated. |

Bake at 170 degrees C (338 degrees F) for 45 minutes. >> |

Divide the dough into two, a one thirds portion and a two thirds portion.
Fold the big portion until incorporated. |
