Pound Cake

Ingredients (for 1) 20 X 7 X 7 cm (7.9 X 2.8 X 2.8 inch) | | butter sugar egg cake flour baking powder walnuts raisins rum

Sift the cake flour and the baking powder together. Beat the egg. |

Roast the walnuts at 180 degrees C (356 degrees F) for 10 minutes and cool
completely. Chop the walnuts. |

Flour the walnuts and the raisins. |

Add the rum and fold until incorporated. |

Grease and flour the pan. Chill the pan until use. |

Cream the butter. |

Pour the mixture into the loaf pan. Tap the pan to let out air. Dent the
center with a spatula. |

Add the sugar and whisk until fluffy. |

Bake at 170 degrees C (338 degrees F) for 50 minutes. >> |

Add the egg in 4 or 5 times and whisk until incorporated. |
